Mrs. Doris B. Eubanks
Mrs. Doris Baughman Eubanks, 92, of 937 Bowman Road, Mount Pleasant, died Monday morning, Sept. 15, 2008, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at First Southern Methodist Church, with the Rev. Marvin Clark officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Eubanks was born in Blackville, a daughter of the late Lonnie J. Baughman and Harriott Hill Baughman. She was a graduate of Lander College. Mrs. Eubanks was a former school teacher. She was a member of First Southern Methodist Church. Mrs. Eubanks was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by brothers, L.J. Baughman and David K. Baughman and was the widow of Joseph Stanley Eubanks.
Survivors include a daughter, Joanne E. Rast and husband, (George) of Myrtle Beach; son, Joseph Timothy "Tim" Eubanks and wife, (Lana) of Mount Pleasant; three grandchildren, Kim R. Kochamba of Franklin, Tenn., Kevin Rast of Mount Pleasant and Ashley Embly of Athens, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Savannah Embly, Andrew, Ally, Anna Grace and Ashleigh Kochamba, Merritt Rast and Coleman Rast.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at First Southern Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made to First Southern Methodist Church, 2690 North Road, Orangeburg, SC 29115.
