TROY -- Aaron H. Desrosiers, 21, of McChesney Road in Troy, formerly of Valley Falls, died suddenly on May 9, 2004, doing what he loved most. Born on October 14, 1982 in Albany, N.Y., he was the son of Pamela A. Tesman Ivy of Ankeny, Iowa and David H. and Antonina Desrosiers of Valley Falls. Aaron was educated in Hoosic Valley Central Schools and was a proud member of the Iron Workers Local 12. He loved his family, snowmobiles, motorcycles and working the iron with his uncles. Survivors in addition to his parents include one brother, Jason and his fiancee Shannon Berger of Valley Falls; one sister, Alyssa Ivy of Ankeny, Iowa; stepbrother, Curtis Ivy and two stepsisters, Becky and Jessica Ivy; grandparents, Kathleen and Fred Tesman of Johnsonville, Ronald and Carol Desrosiers of Rensselaer and the late Yvonne Desrosiers, Helen and Bob Lynch, Judy Mnich and the late Stanley Mnich; devoted girlfriend Allison and her daughter, Victoria Capuano of Troy; uncles and aunts, Andrew and Terri Desrosiers of Cohoes, James and Karl-Lynn Desrosiers of Eagle Bridge, Ronald Desrosiers of Troy, Alana and her husband Jesus Guerra of Cohoes, Todd and Penny Tesman of Johnsonville, Jeff and Sandy Tesman of Buskirk, Lisa and Tom Popp, Michelle Tesman, Becky and Mike Hankle and Amy and Darryl Lee, all of Johnsonville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m. from the Holy Trinity Church, Schaghticoke where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Reverend Peter Pagones, pastor officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the Chase Funeral Home, 173 Main St., Schaghticoke on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Schaghticoke. In lieu of flowers, the family strongly request memorial contributions to be made to the Spina Bifida Association, Alplaus, NY 12008 in Aaron's memory.
