THE SAMUEL KURPGEWEIT FAMILY
Louisa was born Dec. 26, 1879 to Fredrick Wm. Dittberner and Henrietta Dittberner(Dittberenner). Her parents were both from Prussia Pomeri Germany. They came to New York in 1866. They moved from Wisconsin to the Madison area in 1871. Besides Louisa they had 3 more daughters, Amanda (Knapp), Paulina (Maurer) and Malvina (Maurer), and 4 Sons, Fred, Theodore, Frank and William.
Samuel and Louisa were married April 9, 1902. They farmed southwest of Madison and earlier at Meadow Grove.
To this union were born 1 son, William and 3 daughters, Pearl (Maurer), Laura (Bartak) and Irene (Hausemann). Louisa passed away in 1962. Samuel passed away in 1965. Both are buried at the Green Garden Lutheran Cemetery southwest of Madison.
