Born May 24, 1897, in Buffalo, Texas, he married Salley Ingram in Ardmore, Oklahoma on February
9, 1920, moving to Colorado City that same year. Mrs. Taylor died June 29,1978.
Mr. Taylor was a veteran of WWII and a farmer. He was a member of the 22nd and Austin St. Church of
Christ.
Survivors include four daughters, Hazel Proctor of Colorado, City, Myrtle Johnson of Midland, Ruth Lee of Odessa and Mary Lou Meadows of Garland; two sons, Willis Taylor of Colorado City and Thurston Taylor of Crane; three brothers Arthur Taylor of Colorado City, Oliver Taylor of New Braunfels and Norman
Taylor of Ardmore, Oklahoma.
