Mr. William Junior Anderson, 74, of 228 Hilda Drive, Mount Airy, the husband of Mrs. Veneeda Love Anderson, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001, at Northern Hospital of Surry County.
Mr. Anderson was born on Nov. 20, 1927, in Surry County, son of the late Dave and Rosie Smith Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a retired supervisor with Pike Electric Inc., a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Veneeda Love Anderson of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Joy and the Rev. Dr. Mark Key of Charlotte; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Pam Anderson of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; five grandchildren and a brother and sister-in-law; Fred and Mary Jo Anderson of Rich Creek, Va.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Flat Rock Baptist Church with services conducted by Dr. Jon Cawley with entombment held at Skyline Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends an hour before the service on Tuesday at Flat Rock Baptist. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Flat Rock Baptist Church, 1335 East Pine St., Mount Airy, NC. 27030 or to the donor's choice. Moody Funeral Home of Mount Airy will be assisting the Anderson family.
