Funeral Services For Thomas Griffin "Dave" Davidson Sr. were held Monday June 23, 2003 at the Johnson Funeral Home, in Lake Charles, La. The Rev. Ronnie Estes Officiated. Graveside services June 24, 2003 at Vienna Cemetery in Vienna, La. He died Friday June 20, 2003 in the home of his daughter, who cared for him during his last days. He was a native of Ruston, La. and a graduate of Ruston High School. He attended Louisiana Technical University. He moved to Lake Charles, La. in 1950. He owned and operated Modern Cleaners on Seventh Street in Lake Charles for many years. He later worked for Pendleton Security at the Hercules Plant. He loved nature and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed reading and visited the parish library nearly every day during his senior years. He attended Lake City Baptist Church.
