Born Russell Bernard Wilkinson.

Upon the death of his mother he was taken in and raised raised by his grandparents Clark and Neta Smith Bramble and before entering the service in 1945 he formally instituted adoption for himself to Clark and Neta and changed his name to Russell Bramble.

Russell married Zondra Carole Force (1931-2006) in 1953 with no issue.

82, of Tampa, died October 21, 2009. He was born March 4, 1927 in Elmira, NY. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Zondra. He retired from Thatcher Glass after many years and later owned Central Welding Co. He was a WWII veteran. He excelled in all sports in his youth. He was a professional boxer and golden glove champion as well as a professional diver. His hobbies included golfing, wood working and gun collecting. He enjoyed playing poker and watching football games. He was a kindhearted person who loved children and animals. He was blessed with many friends and will be greatly missed. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifePath Hospice. Arrangements made by Blount Curry Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Ave., Tampa, FL.
