Mrs. Hensley retired from the former George C. Moore Elastic Co.
She devoted her life to taking care of children.
Mrs. Hensley was the widow of Clifford Hensley.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Michael and Connie Hensley of Greeneville and Donna Knipp of Johnson City; a son: Jeff Hensley of the home; two grandsons and a granddaughter-in-law: Snide and Pam Hensley of Limestone and Brandon Knipp of Greeneville; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Ruble and Othella Norton and Cecil and Ruth Norton, all of Tusculum; a former son-in-law: Randall Knipp of Greeneville; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Wayland and Billie Hensley and Uyless and Lois Hensley, all of Greene County; two nieces: Tammy Feathers of Tusculum and Diane Burkhart of Chattanooga; two nephews: Kenneth Norton and Gary Norton, both of Tusculum; several great-nieces and great-nephews : a close friend: Kristi Harrison of Greeneville; and a close family: Kevin and Amber Rice, and Tanasi Rice, Sedona Rice, and Kellen Rice.
She was a daughter of the late Everette and Ruby Hensley Norton.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Jeffers Mortuary.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the mortuary chapel. The Rev. Larry Pike will officiate.
A committal service will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning in River Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Myers, Matt Myers, Bill Woody, Gary Norton, Kenny Norton, and Chad Bailey.
Family and friends will meet at the mortuary at 10 o'clock to go in procession to the cemetery.
