MARTIN - Services were held last Sunday afternoon for Jodie Jinkins, 75, who died Friday at his home following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Jinkins is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bess Jenkins, of the Gardner community near here, three daughters, Mrs. Howard Forrester (St. Louis), Mrs. Vincent J. DeLuca (Memphis) and Mrs. Joe Dunn (Martin); two brothers, Will and Kelly Jinkins (Dresden); two sisters, Miss Birtie Jinkins (Union City) and Mrs. Oscar Hynds (Martin), and five grandchildren.

Mr. Jinkins was a retired civil servant, having worked as Recorder for the City of Martin for thirteen years in various capacities, eight of those years as City Recorder.

The funeral services were conducted by the Reverend O. A. Marrs and Eulane Walker with interment in the East Side Cemetery.
