Deceased Name: Margery Ann McIntire
Margery Ann McIntire, 88, of Proctor, Minn., passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009, at Community Memorial Hospital, Cloquet, Minn. Margery was born Aug. 16, 1920, to Covey and Imogene (Cox) Hollandsworth. She graduated from Hamlin University and worked as an accountant for Pillsbury, Nopeming, U.S. Steel and C.Z. Wilson Company. On Sept. 1, 1962, Margery married James McIntire and his daughters. She became the beautiful mother to four little girls who needed and loved her - "her daughters."
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She is survived by her family, Glenna (Jim) Alstad of Grand Rapids, Susan (Les) Riess of Cloquet, Bonnie (David) Sarazin of Cloquet, Nancy (Jim Irving) McIntire of Proctor, and Jay (Sue) Roley of Spicer; her grandchildren, Kevin (Jessica) Riess, Paul (Melissa) Riess, Nathan Riess, Bryan (Ashley Enders) Sarazin, Brant (LeAnn) Sarazin, Jennifer (Jason) Mangan, Stephanie (Justin) Simula, Jason (Jennifer Jerome) Alstad, Brett Alstad, Matt Alstad, Chris (Kirsten) Roley, Shannon Roley, and Sean (Tracey) McIntire; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 17, from 9 a.m until the 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Rose Catholic Church in Proctor. Interment will be at Oneota Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to St. Rose Parish.
The family has selected Nelson Funeral Care of Cloquet to assist them with arrangements, 218-879-3225.
