Survivors include five children, Patricia Parkinson of Cedar Rapids, Chestine Vanderslice of Cedar Rapids, Wendy (Brad) Ridenour of Strawberry Point, Kevin Williams of Phoenix, Arizona, and Amy (Doug) Bruce of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Ellen Ronnefelt (Red Lewis) of Waterville; twelve grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mary was born March 12, 1940, the daughter of Charles and Edna (Butters) Pierce in Cedar Rapids. She married Amos Williams. He died October 29, 2008. Mary worked as a housekeeper at Mercy Hospital.
