CHARLES ALBERT GROGER, 60 of Lancaster, Missouri, formerly of Ottumwa, Iowa died Saturday at 10:45 a.m. at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, he had been in Des Moines, Iowa since January 19, 1956.
The son of CHARLES and ELIZABETH CONNOLLY OR CONLEY GROGER, he was born June 30, 1895 at Dahlonega, Iowa.
Surviving are his wife, MARY; a son PAUL GROGER of Falls Church, Virginia, three grandchildren and two sisters, MRS EMIL NORDELL of McComb, Illinois, and MRS ROSE KIEBEL of West Covina, California. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
The body was returned to the Johnson Funeral Chapel where services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., in charge of the Rev. A.D. Pringle of the Ottumwa Baptist Temple. Burial will be in Round Point Cemetery North of Agency, Iowa.
