Obit taken from the Sumner Cemetery book published by the Atchison County Kansas Genealogical Society:

Mrs. Ida Mabel Ball, 63, a former resident of Atchison County,died this morning about 7 o'clock at Cushing hospital in Leavenworth. She had been ill for some time.
Mrs. Ball was the widow of Earl Ball. She and her husband formerly lived in the District 20 community, south of Atchison, and near the Kansas Children's Receiving Home. He died two years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Methodist church at Jarbalo, Kas. Burial will be in the Sumner Cemetery, south of ATchison. The body is at the Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie.
Mrs. Ball was born and reared in Kansas City. She was married there to Earl Ball in 1918. She was the mother of four daughters and three sons. The family moved to Manhattan, Kas. 12 years ago.
The children are Mrs. Ruth Alford, St. George, Kas.; Mrs. Selma Crocks, Manhattan; Mrs. Florence Fevurly, Jarbalo; Mra. Evelyn Williams, Sarasota, Fla; Barnett Ball, Perry; Raymond Ball, Brookfield, Mo., and Kenneth Ball, Manhattan. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Ida Albin, Kansas City; two sisters,Mrs. Effie Broddis, Kansas City, and Mrs. Dorothy Lile, Kansas City; two brothers, John Albin and Fred Albin, both of Kansas City, 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Mrs. Ball was a member of the Jarbalo Methodist Church.
