The son of John (Honey) Burrows and Ann (Jane) Bowden he married 1st Eliza Hallet Preston 30 Sep 1844 at Bytown (Ottawa). She died around 1855, possibly at Buffalo, and he married 2nd Eliza Saunders and 3rd Mary Jane (Galloway) Bladen 14 Aug 1895. He had 6 children we know of with his first wife and a daughter Helen Marjory "Eda" born 3 Jun 1898 with his third wife when he was aged 72 years.
