She was born March 12, 1912, in Elgin, Neb., to Emil and Lena (Dohse) Warnke. She graduated from Clearwater High School in Nebraska in 1930.
On Dec. 27, 1932, she married Loran J. Hemenway and they had two children. Mr. Hemenway preceded her in death in 1981.
Mrs. Hemenway was a homemaker. She lived in Castle Rock for 66 years.
She is survived by two sisters, Bonnie Orr and Dorothy Janssen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At her request, no service will be held. Burial has taken place at Whittle-Hubbard Cemetery.
