Orangeburg - James I. Gay, 52, died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Gay was born in Georgia, the son of the late Charles Gay and Mrs. Lillie Cook Gay. Surviving are: his widow, Mrs. Doris Zeigler Gay of Orangeburg; two daughters, Mrs. Keith Boozer and Miss Theresa Gay, both of Prosperity; two sons, Mike Gay of Charleston and Jimmy Gay of Leesville; two stepdaughters, Miss Rachel Kinnerly and Miss Susan Kinnerly, both of Orangeburg; a stepson, Louie Kinnerly of Orangeburg; a sister, Mrs. W. L. Harley of Johnston.
