Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, February 10, 2012 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Irene Trahan, 88, who passed away on February 8, 2012 at 8:25 am at her residence.
Reverend Gilbert Dutel, Pastor of St. Edmond's Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
Ms. Trahan, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Atoine LeBlanc and the former Celeste Wiltz, both of St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.
She is survived by her loving caregivers, Patrick and Beverly Thibodeaux as well as Lisa Martin and Lisa Noel and several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Blanco Alleman and husband, Melvin Trahan, her parents, five brothers and one sister.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will resume on Friday from 8:00 am until time of services.
Pallbearers will be Pat Thibodeaux, Harold Domingue, Jr., Steven Domingue and Larry Leblanc.
