Mary Jane Rabon, age 87, widow of the late Arthur Burroughs Rabon, of North Fork Drive, died Friday, July 20, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Rabon was born in Horry County, the daughter of the late Will Anderson and Nellie Goude Cook. She was a homemaker and member of Aynor Church of God. Mrs. Rabon was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by a son, Burroughs Rabon and a daughter, Hazel Kinney. Surviving are: four sons, Robert Rabon of Conway, SC, Douglas Rabon and wife Stacey of Loris, SC, Jimmy Rabon and wife Wanda of Aynor, SC, and Paul Rabon of Aynor, SC; ten daughters, Wilmina Skipper of Conway, SC, Christine Barnhill of Conway, SC, Helen Lamn and husband Pete of Greensboro, NC, Libby Russell of Marion, SC, Addie Bullard of Rockingham, NC, Phylis Stephens and husband Billy of Marion, SC, Jean Martin and husband Lavern of Conway, SC, Sandra Causey and husband Clyde of Mullins, SC, Becky Rabon and Victor of Lexington, SC, and Brenda Richardson and husband Marion of Mullins, SC; fifty-two grandchildren and eighty-two great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, Bill Kinney of Greensboro, NC; and a daughter-in-law, Betty Rabon of Nichols, SC. A funeral service will be held 4:30 PM Sunday, July 22, 2007 from the Aynor Church of God with the Rev. Jerry Love and Rev. Al Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at her residence from 3:00 to 9:00 PM. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice and Palliative Care, PO Box 50640, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.
