Ellis Horner was my uncle, my mother's youngest brother. He lived with his former common law wife's parents near Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia when he died. Their last name was Miller.
This cemetery is on Washington Pike going down into Wellsburg, West Virginia.

Ellis M. Horner, 59, of 660 Washington Pike, Wellsburg, W.Va., died Monday, September 22, 1980, in Washington Hospital.

He was born December 20, 1920, in Washington County, a son of Melvin and Bernice Sims Horner. Mr Horner was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis McCabe of Triadelphia, W.Va.; a son Ellis Jr. of Chardon, OH; one brother, Bernard of Washington; a sister, Mrs. Thelma Taylor of Claysville; and four grandchildren.
