Calvin C. Niman, the son of George and Josie Niman, was born September 13, 1923, in Evansville, Arkansas. He departed this life February 5, 2012, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years.

Calvin was married to Elsie Workman for 65 years. He worked as a foreman for Oklahoma Natural Gas Company for 32 years until retirement. He was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Tulsa. Calvin enjoyed yard work, gardening, playing card games and was a general handyman.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Burgquist, his parents, one brother and four sisters.

His surviving family includes, his wife, Elsie Niman, of Tulsa; daughter, Jeneva Niman and husband, Randall Crook, of Tulsa; two sisters, Edna Tibbits, of Tulsa and Margorie Parker, of Wichita, KS. Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends and loved ones also survive him.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2012, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Pastor Greg Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam, AR under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
