ELMER MINK

Elmer Mink, a retired employee of the Upper Darby School District, died Monday. He was 77 and lived in Lansdowne, Delaware County.

Mink had been a boiler engineer for the school district for 31 years. He retired in 1982. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church and was an associate member of the Fraternal Order of Police of Delaware County. Mink was a Navy veteran of World War II. He had attended South Philadelphia High School.

His wife, the former Elva L. Elliott, died in 1995.

Survivors include two daughters, Jean A. Harris and Ruth C. Rowe; a son, George W. Mink, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the M.F. Williams Funeral Home, Baltimore and Summit avenues, Clifton Heights, Delaware County, where friends may call one hour before the services. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, West Chester Pike and Sterner Avenue, Broomall, Delaware County.
