GEORGE W. FRANK, 86, FATHER OF CRESTLINE MAN DIES SUNDAY

Rev. Carl Grimm___, conducted services at the Reformed church in Shelby at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon for George William Frank, 86, father of C.W. Frank of Scott street, who died at his home, 2 South street, Shelby at 10:50 Sunday morning. Interment in Oakland cemetery. Mr. Frank had not been in good health for some time, but was up for his breakfast Sunday morning, death resulting later from a heart attack.

Born in Shelby, March 2, 1855, Mr. Frank lived in and near that city most of his life, but also resided in Michigan at one time for a number of years. Owing to his failing health, the 63rd wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Frank on October 24 passed very quietly. They attended the family reunion in Mansfield in August, and his was the first death in his immediate family in 58 years. A daughter, Adeline, died in infancy that number of years ago. Surviving is his wife, Dorothy Guenther Frank, now 84; seven sons, Charles W., of Crestline, Archie H., of Tiro, Orville B., of Stanton, Mich., Aurora M., George C. Elza A. and Wesley, all of Shelby; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Hawk of near Shelby; and three half-sisters, Mrs. Harriet Siegfried and Mrs. Emma Hetler of Spring Mills, and Amanda Zehner of Mansfield.
