Death of Mrs. Prentiss.
The death of Mrs. Albert N. Prentiss occurred Saturday at midnight at her home, 605 21st Street Northwest. She had been an invalid for about four years, suffering from heart disease. Mrs. Prentiss was the daughter of Mrs. Paul L. Pelz and the late Peter Gilbert Meems of the Farmers and Mechanics’ Bank, Georgetown and was a descendant of Horatio Gates Ritter, who was a prominent figure in Georgetown affairs in the early days. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock from her late home and the interment will be private in Oak Hill Cemetery.
