Funeral service for Mrs. Inez Buzbee, 92, of Goodwater, will be Saturday, Feb 4, 2012 at 3 p.m. at the Bradford United Methodist Church. Rev. Belinda Rives, Rev. Pete McElrath and Bro. David Rozelle will officiate. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Buzbee passed away on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at Russell Medical Center. She was born on July 24, 1919 in Lauderdale County, Alabama to Parker Thomas McCain and Ethel Inez Thomas McCain. She was a member of Bradford United Methodist church and had been active as a Sunday School teacher, youth leader and enjoyed singing at church and nursing homes. Mrs. Buzbee reired from Russell Corp. She enjoyed being active, working outside, flowers and cooking everyone's favorite dish during the holidays. Mrs. Buzbee loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her wonderful grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Kay B. Beasley (Tom) of Huntsville; son, Dwight Buzbee (Jane) of Jackson's Gap; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Paulette Sizemore; sister, Rebecca Shivers of Alexander City; brother, Jerald McCain (Mary Ann) of Montgomery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clyde Buzbee; son, John McCain Buzbee; parents; sisters, Dorothy Barton and Jimmy Ruth Tucker and brothers, J.T. McCain and Parker McCain.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be given to one's favorite charity.
