Gust J. Benko, 81, of 288 Poplar St., Highspire, died Thursday at home.

He was the former owner of Siler's Cafe, Middletown; and a member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 3501 and Elks Lodge 1092, all of Middletown, the Highspire Boat Club, and Red Bend Hunting Camp, Steam Valley.

Surviving are his wife, Lena G. Gagliano Benko.
