Emma Nora Carson was born in Texas county, Mo. December 14, 1891, and passed away at Junction City, Kan., July 24, 1924, at the age of 32 years, 6 months, 10 days. She came to Kansas as a baby, with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Warner, and was reared in Junction City and eastern Geary to young womanhood. She was united in marriage to William D. Carson on December 21, 1910. To this union three children were born: Nora Evelyn, Esther Louise, and William Kenneth, all of who survive her. She had been in poor health for a number of years, and with her family had traveled through many states in hopes her health would improve. But on arriving in Los Angeles, Calif. January 15, she took to her bed, and from that time until her death was unable to leave it. She was brought to this city on May 31 to the home of her sister, Mrs. George J. Blaker, where she was cared for until she passed away.

She united with the First Christian church at the age of 18 years.

She was laid to rest on Sunday, July 27, in Highland cemetery at Junction City, Kan.
