Funeral services for Kenneth Ray McHand, 60, of Swartz, LA will be held at 10AM, Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.
Rev. Ray Ratcliff and Rev. Wayne James will officiate.
Burial will follow in the McKnight Cemetery near Holly Ridge, LA.
Visitation will be held from 6-9PM Monday and from 8:30AM until service time Tuesday.
Mr. McHand was a West Carroll Parish native and was a former Farm Equipment Mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Antee McHand of Swartz, LA and two children; Scott Dewayne McHand and his wife Karla Shirley-McHand of Winnsboro, LA and Sthepanie Mitchell of Gloster, MS; four grandchildren, Braileigh Poche, Renae Mitchell, Colline Trichell and Christian McHand.
He is also survived by one brother and four sisters,
Wesley McHand of Batchelor, LA, Mary Trichel and husband Thomas of Swartz, LA, Doris Jean Lingefelt of Epps, LA, Diane Redding of Swartz, LA and Dorothy Carter of Winnsboro and one sister-in-law; Ester McHand.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Allen McHand and Mary Evelyn McKnight McHand and two siblings, Thomas Allen McHand and Ora Bell "Punk" Moore.
Pallbears will be Jason Elee, Bubba Elee, Slugger Plauche, Joe McHand, Bryan Lingefelt, Jim Swett and Virgil Chambliss.
