Services for Lillian Petersen (nee Buehler), 97, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Lutheran Home, 800 W. Oakton St., Arlington Heights. Born Oct. 10, 1905, in Elgin, she died Saturday, April 12, 2003, in Arlington Heights. Interment will be in Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin. Mrs. Petersen was a member of the Salem Methodist Church in Barrington. She was the wife of the late Alfred Petersen for 38 years; mother of Alfred "Chuck" Petersen and Karen Petersen; grandmother of Erik, Kirsten (Zachary) Gimm and Kurt Petersen; and sister of Marie Buehler and the late Carl, Elmer (Ruth) and Henry (Lorraine) Buehler.
