Mariam married Roy Henry Clark (1905–1997) and they had 2 sons, Martin Leroy Clark (1924–2020) and Melvin C Clark (1925–2013). She married, second, Milford Robert Johnson (1907–1968) on 26 Aug 1931 Alamosa, Alamosa, Colorado. Milford adopted her two sons, of whom took the name Johnson.
