Shelby Hubert Cline, 90, was born in Mounds, Oklahoma Indian Territory Dec. 4, 1902. He was raised in Tulsa, OK. and retired from OG&E in Oklahoma City in 1968, after 42 years of service.

He was predeceased by his wife, Roberta Maddox Cline, in 1975. Shelby was an avid fisherman and sports fan. He was a charter member of Oklahoma City "Hockey Hounds", a member of the Oklahoma City All Sports Association and Oklahoma City University "Chiefs. " In addition, he was a stalwart worker and leader in membership and fund raising drives of numerous educational, charity and youth organizations. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by three daughters, Rodney Sue Gardiner of Midland, TX, Eleanor Elizabeth Cline of Edmond, OK and Shirley anne Blackburn of El Dorado, AR; a brother, Philip Cline, Wewoka, OK; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Okla. City, Thursday, Sep 9, at 2 pm. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Educational Fund.
