Obituary - Ida Alie was the oldest of Peter and Sarah F. (Elmore) Branstetter. She was born December 14, 1868 and died November 3, 1914. On November 10, 1909 she was united in marriage to W. O. Barley, of Troy, Mo., where she spent the remainder of her life. To this union was born one child, Reba Laura, aged 5 years who, with the heart broken husband, ten stepchildren, three brothers, three sisters, two half brothers, four half sisters, are left to mourn her death.
Ida's death was caused from a accident in which her clothing caught fire and she suffered extensive burns.
