SEDAN - Alice McAfee, 75, died July 29, 1982, at Sedan City Hospital, Sedan, after a long illness. Born Alice Pickerill July 21, 1907, at Geneseo, she married William J McAfee July 28, 1936, at Hutchinson. She had been a Sedan resident since 1972, moving there from Lyons.
She was a member of First Christian Church, Sedan; and Priscilla Club, Lyons.
Survivors: widower, of the home; sons, Richard, Kansas City, Mo.; Wylie Ray Lennen, Illinois City, Ill.; sister, Clara Kimple, Wichita; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sillin-Crawford-Miller Funeral Home, Lyons; the Rev. John Hunter. Burial at Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. Tuesday until service time at the funeral home. Memorials to Christian Resource Library Fund, in care of the church.
