Susan D. Covington was the wife of Alexander Harrison. They married in 1840 in Crawford County, Missouri. It is not known where she was born though her birth date is given as approx 1821 on Census Records, with variations on her birth location as either VA, KY, or MO. Census records suggest she had at least 2 children with Alexander: a daughter Elizabeth and a son Andrew A. Harrison. It is not known for certain where Susan (Covington) Harrison is buried. She outlived her husband by many years. She is shown as a young widow, age 29, on the 1850 Census for Crawford County, MO. She is still listed as head-of-household with 2 children on the 1860 Census in Crawford County, Mo. She may be buried at the Harrison Cemetery in Crawford County, along with many other Harrison kin connected to this family line.
