Born in Greenville, S.C., she was a member of Lee Road Baptist Church and was retired from Belk Simpson.
She was the daughter of Annie Campbell Heath and Wilkie Freeman Heath.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Essie Simmons of Anderson and Mike and Gail Simmons of Greer; four sisters, Hazel Moore, Evelyn Aiken and Ruth Ashmore, all of Greenville, and Augaline Sines of Michigan; two grandchildren, Michelle Simmons and Michael Simmons; two step-grandchildren, Shaye Templeton and Sheela Freeland; and two step-great-grandchildren, Ashley Templeton and Matt Freeland.
Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, 15 Oregon St., Greenville, SC 29605, or Lee Road Baptist Church, Taylors, SC 29687.
Services will be Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, with burial to follow in section "M" of Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., before the service, in the funeral home.
