Born to George & Celia Pounds, Arlie was an identical twin. Her birth name was Early Gertrude Pounds. She and her sister were both adopted by Almer and Imelda Jones after the death of their mother, but Arlie was raised by Jesse and Etta Winchell. She married John Anderson July 26, 1918 in Bristow, Creek Co., OK. John died Aug. 4, 1922 at age 29 of carcinoma. Arlie died at age 33 of tuberculosis, leaving two young children. She is buried in Albion Cemetery in Pushmataha Co. Her grave is unmarked.
