The funeral will be Thursday for Annie Mable Alexander Britt, Salisbury, who died Tuesday (March 25, 2003) at her home after a brief illness.
Born Jan. 12, 1918, in Elkin, Mrs. Britt, a daughter of the late James William and Lula Viola Sommer Alexander, was a graduate of the Salisbury City Schools.
A member of Southside Baptist Church, she worked at Carolina Maid in Granite Quarry.
Her husband, Albert Nathan Britt, died July 6, 1986.
Survivors include brother John A. Alexander, Salisbury; and sister Loy A. Lowe, McDonough, Ga.
Services: 3 p.m. Thursday, Lyerly Funeral Home chapel, conducted by the Rev. Ricky Brown, pastor, Southside Baptist Church, and the Rev. Shane Tolliver. Burial, Chestnut Hill Cemetery. (submitted by Devil Kitty Designs)
