Samuel M. Randall
Samuel M. Randall, 78, 327 13th died yesterday in the Dee Hospital. Mr. Randall was born Oct. 20, 1881, in
North Ogden, a son of Alfred J. and Hannah Severn Randall. He lived in North Ogden until 1936 when he came to Ogden. On June 21, 1906, he married Mary E. Jones in the Salt Lake Temple.
He was a farmer in North Ogden. He later worked in the Weber County Shops, retiring in 1949. He had also worked at the Deseret Industries. He was a high priest advisor, Sunday School and ward teacher and member of the welfare committee in the Mound Fort LDS
Ward. He was a high priest in the Farr West Stake Quorum. He served a mission to the Eastern States from 1901 to 1903. He was former president of the Elders Quorum and Sunday School teacher in North Ogden.
Surviving are his widow, a son, Chester J. Randall, San Bernardino, Calif.; two daughters, Miss Margaret Randall, Ogden, and Mrs. Howard (Thersa) Marshall, Clearfield, four grandchildren, one great - grandchild,
sister, Mrs. Emily Richards, Logan.
Funeral services will be - conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel by Bishop Robert T. Johns. Friends may call at the mortuary tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday until services.
