Clovis passed away Monday, August 9, 2004 in his home in Mt. Aukum surrounded by his family. Clovis was born on Oct. 18, 1914 in Texas & moved to Martinez in 1939. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bernice Johnson, daughters, Loretta Hudelson of Mt. Aukum, CA and Laura Hudelson of San Jose, CA, four grandchildren & four great-grandchildren. Clovis retired from Phillips Tidewater in 1975. He had lived in Martinez until earlier this year. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Martinez for 49 years.
