The Rev Edd H Mullis pastor of the Shiloh True light Church for 40 years died yesterday in Charlotte Memorial Hospital at the age of 79.

He was born Jan. 30, 1890, in Mecklenburg County son of
Milton Culpepper Mullis (1847–1917)
Elizabeth Ann Purser Mullis (1849–1944)

The funeral is to be held at 2:30 pm Thursday at the Shiloh True light Church with the Rev J Rommie Purser and the Rev Flake Braswell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr Mullis lived at Rt 1 Charlotte

In addition to serving as pastor he was a building contractor for many years.
