MRS. ALTA ELMA LAMONT
Mrs. Alta Elma Lamont, 1891 N. Euclid Ave., Upland , passed away in San Antonio Community Hospital, Upland, Sunday at 5:05 P.M. following an illness of one week.
A native of Aurora, Neb., Mrs. Lamont was born Dec. 2, 1883. She had lived in Upland since 1936 moving there from Claremont where she had resided since 1928. Her Husband, James W. Lamont, passed away April 6.
Mrs. Lamont leaves one daughter, Mrs Lloyd McCullum of Cucamonga, one son James W. Lamont Jr. of Fresno, one sister, Mrs Stella Hughes of Long Beach, one brother, Edgar Jones of Ontario and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Pomona Mausoleum with the Rev. Trusten A. Hart of the Upland First Presbyterian Church officiating. Stone Funeral Home of Upland is in charge of the arrangements.
