Katie Florence Blackwell Chapman, was the daughter of William Elmer
Blackwell and Jessie James Dawson Blackwell. She was born in Afton, Ottawa
County, OK on January 14, 1915. She married George L Chapman on July 24, 1937
in Kankakee, IL. She was a graduate of Illinois
State Normal University and taught in Kankakee, Illinois school system for 20
yrs. She had one son Terry Leaton Chapman, 2 daughters
Janet K Chapman and Jeanne Elizabeth Chapman..
