J. Herman Adams, 95, dies Aug. 4 at Gothenburg

J. Herman Adams, 95, of Gothenburg, formerly of Lexington, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2003, at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg.
Services will be Thursday, Aug. 7 at 10 a.m. at the Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington with the Rev. Rick Rehmert officiating. Burial will be in the Overton Cemetery.
Adams was born on Dec. 18, 1907, near Overton to Joseph H. and Ethel (Lunsford) Adams. Survivors include: one son, Kenneth (Arline) Adams of Gothenburg; three daughters, Phyllis Hollibaugh of Lexington, Lois Kehl of Lexington and Jeanie (Carl) Elderton of Fort Collins, CO; one sister, Lucille Murray of Chappel; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen in 1995, two brothers, Delbert and Noel, one sister, Viola, two sons-in-law, Dale Hollibaugh and Ray Kehl and one great-grandson, Cody John.
