We have no idea where he actually died. It could have been at home in Kansas or while visiting his family in Ohio.
Per the cemetery office manager on 6/30/2017 in response to my query "It looks like there are two Lewis/Louis Funks buried in Martha Funk’s plot. However on the two different sheets you sent it shows both in the Grave #1 but they have different spellings and burial/death dates."
Her reply "A mishap in the records. Because I only show one burial card for Louis Funk born January 22, 1859*** died December 28, 1893. Around that time in the 1800's there was a fire that destroyed all of the records. So different people have been piecing it all back together. So I would say they are the same person, maybe someone just didn't know the correct spelling."
