Services for Aaron L. Boren 81 will be held on Friday April 21 2006 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Arrington funeral Directors with Reverend Steven Callicoat officiating. Burial will follow at Browns Cemetery. Mr. Boren died on Wednesday April 19 2006 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was born in Jackson TN on May 1 1924 the son of the late Grady and Ruby Birdsong Boren. He graduated from Jackson High School in 1942 where he was a member of the Varsity Basketball Team. Upon graduation from Jackson High School he attended West Tennessee Business College. He enlisted and served three years in the Navy during World War II. Upon leaving the Navy he came back to Jackson and worked for two years as the Deputy Clerk and Master of the Chancery Court of Madison County. He joined the United States Postal Service and retired from the Post Office after forty years of service.

Mr. Boren was a member of Browns United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Frances Tignor Boren of Jackson; a son Ricky L. Boren and wife Donna of Jackson; and three grandchildren Abigail Boren Pearson Giles Ellie Boren and A.J. Boren.

Pallbearers for the service will be Joe Hudson Raymond Towater Andy Robinson Robert Harris Bart Walls and Trey Brady. Honorary pallbearers for the service will be the Jackson Post Office retired rural carriers.
