Catherine Becker
NEW OXFORD - Catherine A. (Miller) Becker, 77, of 426 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, died suddenly Monday evening, Feb. 1, 1993, at Hanover Hospital.
Born Feb. 26, 1915, in New Oxford, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Mary (Murren) Miller. She was the wife of Albert L. Becker.
Mrs. Becker was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Oxford Parish Council of Catholic Women, AARP, and was the owner and operator, with her husband, of Becker's Ceramic for 46 years.
Surviving also are three sons, Ronald J. Becker of Sterling Heights, Mich., Albert L. Becker Jr. of Livonia, Mich, and Edward A. Becker of Detroit, Mich.; two daughters, Angela M. Felix of Hanover and Patricia A. Felix of New Oxford; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; four brothers, Cur-vin Miller, Guy Miller and Robert Miller, all of New Oxford, and Joseph Miller of New City, N.Y.; and one sister, Mabel Gallaher of Silver Springs, Md.
The funeral service will be held Thursday meeting at the Feiser Funeral Home Inc., 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, at 9:15 a.m. to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with her pastor, the Rev. Monsignor Lawrence Overbaugh, as celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home with a prayer service at 8 p.m.
