Rosa attended Lincoln High School, where she was a member of the girl’s drill corps, and was a 1966 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. She was a graduate of West Kentucky Vocational School, receiving her certificate in business. Rosa was a bookkeeper in the banking industry for over 17 years. She was a member of Ninth Street Church of Christ, where she had prepared the bulletins for over 30 years and served as church secretary for 15 years.
She leaves to cherish memories her husband of 30 years, Roosevelt Nunn Jr. of Paducah; two sons, Lee and wife Tara Patterson Jr., and Eric and wife Barbara Patterson Sr., both of Paducah; six granddaughters; three grandsons; four great-granddaughters; three great-grandsons; a sister, Neffallie Anderson of Paducah; two brothers, Robert Anderson and Robert and wife Connie Coleman, both of Paducah; a special nephew, Jason Anderson, and a special niece, Traci Anderson, both of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Moton Anderson and Birdie Bell Coleman; four sisters, Peggy Clark, Shirley Baldwin, Georgia Mae Wilson and I.V. Poole; two brothers, George Coleman and Willie Coleman; and one grandson, Dru Patterson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Ninth Street Church of Christ. Brother Mark Rowe will officiate, and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
