Obituary
MRS. CARL CARLSON
Mrs. Carl Carlson passed away early Sunday morning following a sudden heart attack. She was at the Wilson hospital here recovering from a caesarean operation performed last Thursday evening by a Page physician, when she was stricken by the fatal disease. A baby son was born and the infant, the husband, and the following other children survive: Jacob A., August J.,Eva Marie, Roy Wesley, Merita Bell, and Donald Carl. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Turnovec, Bonesteel, S.D.; and seven sisters and two brothers as follows: Mrs. James Pistulka, Fairfax S.D., Mrs. Geo. McRumb, Omaha Nebr.; Charlie Turnovec, Bonesteel S.D.; Sophia, Rosann and Caroline Turnovec, Omaha, Nebr., Mrs. Emanuel Walth, Fairfax S.D.; Joseph Turnovec and Mrs. Mell Sulloff, Omaha Nebr.

Tracie Turnovec was born on January 27, 1900 at Fairfax, S.D. and died in Stuart, Nebr., August 11, 1935, at the age of thirty-five years, six months and fourteen days.

She was married to Carl Carlson February 26, 1920 at Butte, Nebr. To this union were born nine children, two having died in infancy. She has reared this large family here in the north part of the state, having lived north of Stuart the past four years. She was ambitious, a good mother, a loving wife, and a friend to all.

Funeral services were held at the Stuart Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon and the pastor, Rev. Brownfield, delivered the message. The body was laid to rest in the Stuart cemetery.

Pall bearers at the funeral were: James Carrigan, Joseph Schmaderer, Earl Morris, Floyd Gardner, Harry Cadwallader and Gary Cadwallader.
