Michael Paul Smeltzer, of Michigan, passed away suddenly Jan. 16, 2012, while visiting his mother.
Michael proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Michael was the beloved son of Mildred Smeltzer-Price of Sugar Grove, Ill. and the late Paul Smeltzer; dear brother of Karen (Ted) Glowiak of Sugar Grove and David (Laura) Smelter of Frisco, Texas; dear uncle of Elizabeth Moran, Sarah DeRubis, Leah Smeltzer and Savannah Smeltzer; great- uncle of Kaia and Cole DeRubis; and nephew of Nicholas Bobrick of Las Vegas, Nev.
A private family service was held at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Drive, Sugar Grove, IL 60554.
Burial with full military honors was in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Ill.
