In about 1810 she married Redman Crumpler. They had seven known children: Margaret Jane, Griffin, Edith, Sarah Holmes, John R., William B. and Martha.
Sometime in the 1830's she and Redman moved their family to Florida Territory. They lived in that part of Florida that would be Walton County when it became a state.
Redman died about 1847. Before the 1860 Census Sarah and her family moved to Rapides Parish, LA with other members of the family. She did not appear on the 1870 Census of the county. It is believed that she was buried in an unmarked grave in what is now Vernon Parish, LA
