He is a civil and mecharaical engineer and inventor, and resides in New Haven, Conn.

Married (1) in New London, Conn., July 28, 1875, ADDIE G. POTTS of New London, born January 17, 1850; died in Des Moines, Iowa, January 17, 1884.

Married (2) in Des Moines, Iowa, October 28, 1885, MINNIE HOLMES SPRING of Brockport, N. Y., born April 3, 1856, in New York City.
